I’m Janek,  I love helping paddlers build confidence on the water and make good decisions in real conditions. My aim is to share what I’ve learned over the years in a practical, supportive way so you can enjoy the sea safely in terms which meet your needs and the needs of the natural world.

I enjoy working with paddlers at all levels and work to tailor our time together to help you interact with the marine environment in a safe, fun and developmental manner. This can be through safety and rescue coaching, personal skill development, leadership training or immersive expeditions.

As well as a sea kayak guide and coach, I am also a lecturer in Adventure Education at the University of the Highlands and Islands and an Associated Outdoor Practitioner with Venture Trust. I love mountain biking, snorkelling and
